Parting from the four attachments is well regarded as one of the jewels of Tibetan Buddhism. Manjushri, the bodhisattva of wisdom, uttered these words to Sachen Kunga Nyingpo-- If you are attached to this life, you are not a person of dharma. If you are attached to cyclic existence, you do not have renunciation. If you are attached to your own purpose, you do not have bodhichitta. If grasping arises, you do not have the view. KHENPO TRINLEY RINPOCHE will present a teaching on this quintessential Buddhist subject.
He was born in Gyalrong, Tibet and has practiced and taught Buddhism for over 20 years in Asia and America. He studied Sakya teachings with Sakya masters and Gelugpa teachings at Sera University in India. He received a Khenpo degree at Gyalrong University in 2006.
